NAGPUR: After facing an embarrassment in the
legislative council on Tuesday,
Shiv Sena strongly came up with the strong protest against
Nanar Refinery Project proposed in Konkan in the legislative assembly.
Sena legislators became aggressive over the refinery project in lower house with slogans against project, running in the well and also lifted a mace lying on the speaker’s table. Amid ruckus over the issue, assembly speaker
Haribhau Bagade adjourned the house for the day, after adjourning it for fours times before.
As soon as the house reassembled for the fifth time, Shiv Sena legislator from Ratnagiri Rajan Salvi ran towards the speaker’s chair, Congress’
Nitesh Rane too followed him to lift a mace in front of speaker.
Amid ruckus, Bagade adjourned the house for the day. Sena members were demanding to speak on the refinery project to which the speaker did not allowed.
