Virender Sehwag’s daily dose of entertainment for his fans contains unique messages and remarks, and with the World Cup fever at its peak, the former India cricketer too could not help but join the fun.

Sehwag on Tuesday shared a video of an elderly fan producing one of the finest kicks to put the ball inside a small window of a house, with the ball curving in just in time to move in.

The cricketer-turned-commentator shared the video on Tuesday, when France took on Belgium in the first semi-final of the World Cup 2018. A header from Samuel Umtiti produced the only goal of the match, and France made it to a World Cup final after 12 years.

Sehwag used the hashtag #FRABEL and wrote, “Forget France , England, Croatia, here is the man.” The dashing opening batsman even added the hashtag #MessikeChacha on the same post which he shared on his Instagram page.

While many followers of Sehwag on social media have questioned the authenticity of the video, several have praised the portly man who brought out the kick with precision.

Sehwag made a very interesting observation a few days back when he highlighted a day’s gap between the birthdays of three of the finest Indian captains — MS Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly and Sunil Gavaskar — commenting that on “The missing 9th. Somewhere, a future India captain and icon will be born or celebrating his birthday today.”

But Sehwag was at his hilarious best when he used the word ‘chutney’ to perfection on the birthday of his former India teammate Harbhajan Singh.

Sehwag has also been a big cheerleader for the Indian cricket team during their ongoing England tour, where the Virat Kohli-led team has started off with a 2-1 series win in T20Is.
