MUMBAI: Actress Niharica Raizada, who will be seen in a Netflix entertainer "Alang", says web series offer more creative liberty.

Niharica, who has just wrapped up the shoot of her Bollywood film "Total Dhamaal", interacted with the media at the muhurat shot for "Alang".

Excited to join the bandwagon of celebrities working on digital shows, Niharica said: "Everyone is being a part of web series now. Actors from all over, Bollywood and other industries, are doing web series now. I think it is so because more creative liberty is available when it comes to web series, and digital medium is the future."

She doubts if the charm of big screens will ever go, but she is all for the convenience that digital medium allows to viewers.

"You can watch whichever show you want wherever. There are so many platforms like Amazon, Zee5 and Netflix, so I am excited to become a part of digital medium," she added.

The Netflix show will be produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment which has backed films like "Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana", "Genius" and "Mulk".

While Niharica couldn't divulge much about her new show, she is sure it is going to be fun.

"It will be made on the level of a feature film. I am very happy to work with this production house. They gave me this chance to work in their first web series. I wanted to do a web series for a long time now, and this one will have a thriller level of build-up and drama."

Directed by Harsh Kawa, "Alang" will also feature Karanvir Sharma, Krip Kapur Suri and Ishita Bajwa.
