Here’s why people are going gaga over a young Pakistani’s dance moves

A man from Pakistan is gaining praises from his country and beyond for his soulful dance performance in the middle of a mall.

Mehroz Baig, a 21-year-old from Karachi, danced in Hyperstar mall in Pakistan’s Karachi on a Panjabi track called ‘Laung Laachi’ with his eloquent moves and expressions. His performance caught eyeballs after Baig shared video of dancing his Facebook page on Sunday.

People who watched him dance commended him not only for his courage to perform among crowd in a mall, but also for perfect expressions he gave while dancing to the track.

“Gosh ur dance is so much amazing love ur expressions too hat off to you seriously mujhe aisa dare milta mein bagh jati ?? [sic],” a Facebook user named Anum Jawad Riaz commented on Baig’s video, which has so far got 4.2 million views.

Another user named Jiya Rajpur from Pakistan fell in “love” with his “beautiful and artistic” dance moves.

“I am so in love with his moves So beautiful and artistic. Find him, I wanna dance with him,” she wrote on his post.

So far, over 32,000 people have liked his post on Facebook and almost 73,000 shared it.

Baig is a student of Media Science in Iqra University. Dancing is something he loves to do, he says on his Facebook page, where he had posted videos of his dance performaces.

But dancing is not something he wishes to do professionally. He wants to pursue filmmaking, acting, radio or video jockeying for career, he further adds.
