Digital Technology can bring social transformation: Ajay Chandrakar

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar today said that Digital Technology can bring social transformation. He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating ‘Digital Madhyam Se Samvad’ in the capital.  The programme was organized by the National Health Mission-U.S.D. -Digital Green He also felicitated Rajnandgaon mitanin Mrs. Sohani Banjare,  Pomin Dewangan, Parvati Mandwi, Santi Patauthi and Hemlata Sahu.

The Health Minister said that Digital platform can bring social transformation. Mr. Chandrakar added that social awareness is being created by the Health Department’s ‘Peeko Video’. Family planning, Maternal and Infant mortality, steps against malnourishment are the focus of digital media. Citizens are gaining in faith in the institutions of Health Department. Health matters are related to the emotions of the people. Motto should be only to serve the patients.

Health Department Secretary Mrs. Niharika Singh said that audio-video visuals are powerful media to reach the masses. Health issues are enveloped in blind faith. Digital media will help in spreading awareness among the ignorant. Several senior officers of various departments were also present.
