Worried over the traffic snarls following the potholes and craters caused due to recent rains in the town and no response from the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar (MCK) authorities, the Karimnagar Traffic Police have turned good samaritans and took up repairs of the potholed roads on Monday.

The traffic police regulating the traffic movement at the busy bus stand area noticed the huge crater that was causing traffic obstructions and bought a tractor load of granite dust and filled the potholes and craters to ensure smooth movement of the traffic. Sub-Inspector Cheralu and constable Srinivas were appreciated for their instant decision to fill the potholes and ensure smooth flow of traffic.

Similarly, in Peddapalli district also the traffic police rose to the occasion and filled the potholes developed on the Rajiv Rahadhari from Chikurai to Rangampalli villages in Peddapalli mandal with stone dust. The potholes and craters on the State highway was posing threat to the vehicle users and causing accidents. Following the instructions of Peddapalli DCP T. Sudarshan Goud, the traffic police filled the potholes and craters to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and avoiding water logging.
