Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs DR. Narottam Mishra laid foundation stone of upgradation work of Rajghat Canal Project Basai Minor, Laharra Minor and Basai Minor costing Rs. 4.42 crore at Basai Bardhua road.
Total 20 villages including villages of Shivpuri district will be benefitted by this scheme. A 32.21 k.m. long lines will be laid to facilitate better irrigation on 3908 hectare area.
Jan-Kalyan, Samasya and Bill Maafi camp
Minister Dr. Mishra visited Basai of Datia district and inaugurated Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana, Jan-Samasya Nivaran and Bijlee Bill Maafi camp. Registration cards of Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana were given to 8 thousand persons in the camp. Similarly, electricity bills of total 450 beneficiaries were waived off.
Along with this, pension of 100 Kalyanis was sanctioned. A financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh was given to Kadam Singh Lodhi of Satlon, who lost his daughter due to lightening. Also land rights pattas were distributed among the 25 beneficiaries in the camp.
