A mobile application developed by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for reporting unauthorised constructions in the Capital, went live on Monday.

“The app is called “DDA-311” and has been developed to enable users report illegal structures and unauthorised constructions, whenever they spot something. Users can download the app from play store,” said a DDA official.

Union Minister of State Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday said that users can upload pictures along with the location of the unauthorised construction. “There will be zero tolerance for illegal construction. The STF will meet every two weeks and a nodal officer for each zone will be appointed. The much-needed clearing up of Delhi is under way,” he said.

The civic bodies and authorities will be held liable for taking action, he added.
