NEW DELHI: The markets on Tuesday morning took off from where it had left on Monday as benchmark indices gained 0.40 per cent in early trade and
Sensex regained the 36,000-mark.
30-share BSE Sensex gained 134 points at opening to start trading at 36,068.27 while the broader 50-share NSE
Nifty too made impressive gains and was testing the 10,900-mark.
On Monday, Sensex rose more than 270 points to close at a 5-month high with global cues boosting sentiments.
All sectors were in the green and gaining to the tune of half a per cent each with the exception of FMCG stocks.
Reliance,
Adani Ports and
HDFC Bank were the top gainers on Tuesday morning.
