"They don't have any connect with the masses of Bengal. The people of Bengal stand with Mamata Banerjee and her developmental politics," he said.

State BJP criticised TMC and termed the allegations against his party as 'baseless"'.

"It is TMC that has divided the people of the state just to secure its minority votebank. It is TMC's minority appeasement that has angered the majority community of the state," he added.

CPI-M leader said TMC and BJP are in competition with each other in the of communalism and criminalisation.
