The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to declare the result for 2018 civil services prelims exam today i.e July 10 on the official website- upsc.gov.in. The prelim exam were conducted on June 3 at 73 exam centres across the country. Over three lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The Prelim exam was organised in two parts – Paper-I and Paper-II, the marks obtained in Paper 1 alone are considered for the merit list. Candidates must obtain 66 marks (33 per cent) in Paper-II to be eligible to write the mains. Aspirants just need 33 per cent score in Paper II of UPSC Prelims 2018 to qualify for UPSC Main Exam. The main exams are scheduled to be held in September.

Step 1: Log on to the official website, upsc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that says ‘UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2018’
Step 3: Enter all the asked details and click on submit
Step 4: Download your result and take a print out for future reference.
Meanwhile, as per the earlier reports, the results for UPSC civil services prelims 2018 were to be declared on July 15, about 45 days after the examination but latest media reports suggest that the results are likely to be announced on 10 July 2018.
