The tourism mart will be a wonderful platform for all stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality industries for interacting and negotiating business opportunities with the support of state/UT governments. The event would be organized in New Delhi in September.
The tourism minister said that India has wonderful untapped potential in tourism and the hospitality sector needs to increase foreign tourist footfall and get benefit out of it.
Alphons said that the tourism ministry has been conducting road shows abroad and releasing theme-based promotional videos and so, the tourism mart will definitely be a big step which will fetch buyers from all corners.
The minister added that via this tourism mart, India will have the chance to showcase its hidden destinations to the world.
