iB Hubs Startup School graduates 16 startups in its second year

iB Hubs has been working with the government of Uttar Pradesh to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the state through various initiatives.
iB Hubs Startup School graduates 16 startups in its second year Gurugram based student entrepreneurship focussed iB Hubs Startup School has completed its second year with its Lucknow batch graduating the zero fee, zero equity program recently.

The Lucknow cohort was the second cohort this year after Hyderabad. iB Hubs has been working with the government of Uttar Pradesh to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the state through various initiatives.

The student entrepreneurs, over the four weeks at iB Hubs Startup School, learn to build a product, inculcate design and scale their idea. The student entrepreneurs also get to create business models and refine them through several interactions with potential customers.

“Students have tremendous energy and enthusiasm to create innovative solutions; But, they require right guidance for their innovations to flourish as a startup. At iB Hubs Startup School, we equip them with essential knowledge to build a successful startup and guide them to make things happen at an accelerated pace,” said Radha Alekhya, CEO, iB Hubs.

The program features talks from industry experts and entrepreneurs. The students also receive a one-on-one mentorship from experts at iB Hubs.

This year’s program saw 16 startups including Darrang Eco Works, a sustainable housing solutions firm; Tap n Park, a parking solutions app and Knode, an agri based technology solutions provider, graduate across the two cohorts.

Some of the startups who have earlier been a part of iB Hubs include Trashcon, a waste management startup. The startup is working with the Bengaluru Municipality and has also received a grant from the Karnataka government as a part of its Elevate 100 program.

Similarly, 14 W Technologies, which works on solar plants using aerial imaging, counts organisations like Tata Power Solar, Indian Institute of Science and others as customers.
