Two persons have been arrested by the CBI from Ajmer in connection with a case related to economic offences in Mumbai, police said today.
Those who were arrested have been identified as Anil Kumar Toshniwal and Anil Kumar Sharma, Ajmer police said.
It was a case related with economic offence lodged under relevant sections including 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC, the police said.
Two persons have been arrested by a CBI team which came from Mumbai. The team had sought assistance from the local police which was provided, SP Ajmer Rajendra Singh said.
