Scientists believe they have uncovered the world’s oldest color on record in Africa.????And guess what?
According to Business Insider, the OG color was bright pink!????Researchers, led by Australian National University scientists, extracted the pigments from marine black shales under the Sahara desert dating back over a billion years.????But wait, does that mean there was a time when there was no color?
What is this, the Wizard of Oz?????Dr Gueneli from the ANU Research School of Earth Sciences explained:????"The bright pink pigments are the molecular fossils of chlorophyll that were produced by ancient photosynthetic organisms inhabiting an ancient ocean that has long since vanished.”????ANU says it’s bright pink when the color is diluted, while the concentrated version can be anything from blood red to deep purple.????OK, but did any of the scientists report seeing “smoke on the water” or “fire in the sky”?
