HYDERABAD: Eight persons who were found urinating in public places were booked by the Amberpet police on Sunday.
Cops detained them, registered cases and counselled them on keeping the city clean. Inspector AP Anand Kumar of Amberpet police said they took up the initiative with assistance from GHMC.
Though initially such violators were counselled and sent away, police have booked eight cases in last three days.
Some of these public places were government offices without proper facilities. Police have brought it to GHMC’s notice. Kumar said they would continue the drive in future to keep places clean.
