Cape Town - A video of an Emirates flight filled with English supporters reaction to their team's dramatic penalty shootout against Columbia in the Round of 16 has gone viral.

Posted on last week (July 4) by a fellow passenger, the video captures the moment England's Eric Dier converted the final spot kick, which saw England progress in to the quarter-finals.

Passengers can be seen cheering and bursting into song.

The video has since garnered over 3 million views on Facebook.

Since then England went on to defeat Sweden 2-0 in the quarter-final on Saturday.

Gareth Southgate's men will face Croatia in their semi-final on Wednesday (20:00 SA time) and bid to end their 52-year World Cup title drought.
