New Delhi, For the fifth straight day, there has an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel rates.According to the data on state-run Indian Oil Corporation’s website, petrol price in Delhi stands at Rs. 76.36 per litre. In Chennai and Kolkata, petrol prices are Rs. 79.25 per litre and Rs. 79.03 per litre respectively. While in Mumbai petrol is being sold at Rs. 83.75 per litre.
Diesel prices also registered an increase across the four metro cities, as mentioned on Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)’s website and its app, [email protected]
In Delhi, diesel prices stand at Rs. 68.07 per litre. Diesel price in Mumbai is Rs. 72.23 per litre, in Kolkata Rs. 70.62 per litre. In Chennai, it is Rs. 71.85 per litre.
The new listed rates are applicable from 0600 hrs today. State-run oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel prices with effect from 0600 hrs every day.
