HC judge reviews works of Ganjam court projects

Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi of the Orissa High Court visited proposed court site at Sheragada and under-construction JMFC Court building at Hinjilicut in Ganjam district on Saturday.

On the direction of the State Government, Sheragada Tehsildar identified a patch of 3.013 acres of land near village Panchuani hill and sent the proposal to the High Court for approval. Accordingly, Sarangi accompanied by Ganjam District Judge Bibhu Prasad Routray visited the proposed site and discussed threadbare with officials.

Sarangi in understood to have directed officials to expedite land acquisition process and construct a pucca approaching road to the identified site. Besides, he too asked officials to construct a boundary wall before constructing the court building.

Sarangi expressed discontentment about the quality of Hinjilicut JMFC Court building work. Sarangi instructed Police Housing Board Manager Sagarlal Murmu to adhere to quality and complete the construction work within three months time.

Among others, Additional District Judge Rabindra Kumar Sahu, Hinijilicut JMFC Court Judge Sridip Mishra, Tehsildar Priyaranjan Prusty, Government Advocate Pramod Kumar Dalai, Santunu Pallai and Dwitikrushna Sabat were present.
