Cape Town - Harry Maguire has become an internet sensation after the England footballer talked up his country’s chances of winning the Soccer World Cup with a hilarious meme.

In the picture, posted on his Twitter page, he is seen speaking to partner Ferne Hawkins after the Three Lions' 2-0 quarter-final win over Sweden on Saturday.

In the picture, Maguire jokes that his neighbours will have to sort out the picking up of their trash because he will be in Russia for a few extra days.

“Can you ask the neighbours to put the bins out on Monday? We're not going home just yet,” Maguire captioned the pic.

That picture was in response to team-mate Kyle Walker mocking him after their quarter-final victory.

In his own picture, posted after the game, Walker captioned it, “Yeah so a good header doesn't hurt. I mean the moment you head it proper, you feel it's a good one. Know what I mean love?”
