Select edible oils edge up on increased buying by millers

Select edible prices rose by up to Rs 100 per at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased buying by millers.

Traders said increased buying by millers against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up select edible prices.

In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil inched up by Rs 50 to Rs 7,900 per Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils followed suit and were enquired higher by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,285-1,330 and Rs 1,335-1,435 per tin, respectively.

Groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil also edged up by Rs 50 to Rs 8,450 per quintal, while groundnut solvent refined traded higher by Rs 10 to Rs 1,730-1,830 per tin.

Among non-edible oils, traded higher by Rs 100 to Rs 7,400-7,500 per quintal.

Edible oils: Groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,450, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,730-1,830, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,900, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,285-1,330, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,335-1,435, Sesame Mill delivery Rs 9,800, Soybean Refined mill delivery (Indore) Rs 7,700, Soybean Degum (Kandla) Rs 7,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 5,500, Cottonseed Mill delivery (Haryana) Rs 7,400, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 7,000, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 7,050 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 3,100-3,150.

Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 9,100, Castor Rs 7,400-7,500, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
