CHANDIGARH:
Drop in day temperature on Monday brought a sigh of relief from the sweltering
weather, though the
humidity levels continued bother residents.
According to the forecast by Meteorological department, temperatures are expected to drop further on Tuesday and Wednesday with cloudy sky and thundery development.
While the maximum temperature dropped a little on Monday, minimum temperature shot up following a cloudy sky. The minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 29.7 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
For Tuesday, weathermen have forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of rain and thundershowers. Maximum temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to stay around 26 degrees Celsius.
