HYDERABAD: With chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announcing allocation of Rs 45,000 crore for developmental programmes in Greater Hyderabad over the next three years, international consultants will be engaged for preparation of a comprehensive developmental plan for Greater Hyderabad in mission mode, mayor Bonthu Rammohan has said.
The international consultant, which will be engaged by the government, would integrate the developmental plans of respective departments and prepare a comprehensive development plan to avoid any overlap of schemes or works, the mayor told reporters on Sunday.
“The state cabinet will meet shortly on reorganising Greater Hyderabad into 50 circles and 10 zones. The city, at present, is divided into 30 circles and six zones.” he added.
