4 arrested with arms, ammunition in J-K

Four persons have been arrested and arms and were

seized from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir's district, police said today.

Continuing its efforts to weed out drug menace from the society, a special team of Police Station Karnah, assisted by the Border Security Force, laid a check-point at Saidpora in the Karnah area of north district, a police said.

He said during checking, two vehicles were intercepted and about 12 kg of contraband substance was seized from the possession of and -- both residents of the Nawagabra area of Karnah.
