Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that following the footprints of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar the BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh has launched schemes to promote local products which will give employment to the local artisans at their village.

Addressing a gathering after a releasing a book titled “Rashtrapurush Chandrashekhar – Sansad mein do tuk” here on Sunday he said Chnadrashekhar was the biggest advocate of promoting local industry. “This BJP Government is working on the same philosophy and has adopted “One District One Product (ODOP) scheme,” he said.

Chief Minister said that this ODOP will help the local artisans to showcase their products and provide them a big market to sell their products. This scheme will open employment opportunity for the local villagers and in turn will end the exodus,” he said. Yogi also said that Chandraskehra was a big advocate of Common Civil Code because he felt that all the residents of India should be governed by one law.

UP Govt launches schemes to promote local products
