The creator of Chhota Bheem, Ezhil Vendan is back with a treat for the kids with his 3-D animation film on Hanuman. This mythological film is not based on those stories from the Ramayana that we have heard over ages. The film depicts the untold story from The Ramayan in which Hanuman fights with Mahiravana, Ravan’s brother, on the journey to bring Sita back from Ravana’s captivation. The movie is a perfect blend of action and storyline in a 3-D form. Though the first half of the film is mainstream, it is the second half which is unique, happening and interesting. The scenes in the film are visually strong and impressive, specifically the one in which Hanuman is entering a deep cave which will lead him to the underworld, it looks both beautiful and scary in 3-D. There are bits of humour added rightly in places and the heroic portrayal of Hanuman— his immense strength and wit, will make for the beauty of the film. The film is a good watch for the kids and if you are planning to spend some quality time with your family, then this film is a good option to go for.
