Check your tickets: Perth lotto player half-a-million dollars richer
One lucky Western Australian will take home just over half-a-million dollars after a division one winning tickets was sold at Heathridge Newsagency for Saturday night's Lotto draw.
The winning ticket, worth $503,668.42 in total, was one of eight division one tickets sold.
The numbers were 29, 1, 6, 43, 23, 18 with supplementary numbers 3 and 35.
The winner is yet to come forward and claim their prize.
WA also had some luck in division two, with eight punters taking home $7,929.10 each.
The win comes after a Baldivis man claimed Western Australia’s second $2 million division one prize from last month’s $20 million Saturday LottoSuperdraw, on behalf of a 40 member syndicate.
The syndicate, which started as a few work mates pulling together loose change, quickly snowballed into a larger state-wide affair.
Spanning across Western Australia from Baldivis to Geraldton, each member pocketed $50,000.
“We started with $10 here and there but I wanted more people on board,” he said.
“Only a few mates from work were keen, so I put a call out online.”
“Everyone wanted in and we’ve been going strong for about three years now.”
The man learnt their ticket was a winner through a phone call from his best mate - the other members quick to follow him up.
“I’d just knocked off from work and my mate kept saying check the numbers, check the numbers!” he said.
“I did a little happy dance when I checked them for myself but didn’t want to be too loud.”
