Shailesh Patni, 24, resident of
Khodiyaarnagar in
Nikol has lodged a complaint against his uncle Dashrath Patni and his two sons
Aakash and
Gautam for stabbing him in the head over an old property dispute with his father. The incident took place on Saturday near Thakkarnagar crossroads which falls under the jurisdiction of Krishnanagar police station.
While Patni was rushed to a nearby hospital, police are hunting for the assailant trio named in the FIR.
According to the FIR lodged by Patni, his uncle Dashrath Patni had an old dispute with his father which led to a quarrel between the two families about six months ago.
“Patni has mentioned in the FIR, that while he was returning from his workplace in Naroda on his scooter, he had stopped for a while near Thakkarnagar crossroads. During that time his uncle and his two sons appeared suddenly. While his uncle held him from behind, Aakash punched him and Gautam
stabbed him twice on his head. The trio fled when people gathered,” said a police official.
Police said Patni called up his mother and told her about the incident. “His brother Sagar, rushed to the spot and took him to a nearby hospital. We have registered the complaint and are hunting for the accused,” said an investigator.
