Zac Efron has dreadlocks now. Well, that's according to a recent Instagram post from the actor, who has been hardcore adventuring with his brother Dylan. They've been climbing mountains, surfing waves, and holding baby goats like humans. But this new hair might be the biggest adventure yet. See for yourself:
Efron's not afraid of playing his commercial good looks for work (and occasional laughs), but he's also been known to subvert them from time to time. He'll grow a mean beard. He'll cut said beard into odd diagonal shapes. He'll bleach his hair platinum blonde, if he feels like it. But this dreadlock thing... It's questionable.
Fans and commenters aren't holding back on their opinions, either. Some people are into the look. Some people are very much not. Others are accusing Efron of cultural appropriation. His caption — "Just for fun" — is also sending fans into an analytical meltdown. But the biggest question of all: Are they even real? Zac Efron, mystery man.
