Ragini Sharma of Surendra Garden Bhopal has donated Rs 51,000 to Sewa Sadan Hospital for the treatment of eye patients on Tuesday. This money was kept for ‘Mrityu bhoj’ on Triyodashi ritual of her husband Late Anil Sharma, who had passed away on June 19.

Rejecting all old customs, Ragini set worth emulating example and shows the way to the society. Ragini Sharma was inspired by her brother-in-law JP Sharma, who is also a retired APCCF in MP forest department. Not only sewa sadan, Ragini donated Rs 25,000 to Blind hostel Shivaji Nagar and some amount to Local Gaushala also. Deceased Anil Sharma was 62 years old and a retired Chief Mechanical Engineer in Railways.

Ragini Sharma came to sewa sadan on Tuesday evening and distributed foods and meals to 103 eye patients. These patients were brought from a free eye camp held at Mehatwara the other day.

After distribution of meals and fruits, mixed expression of pains of separation with her Late husband and satisfaction of donating money for a noble cause was observed on the face of Ragini.

Brother in law of donor JP Sharma said that the society should come forward to initiate and establish these new examples. Managing Trustee LC Janiyani stressed the need to change old customs for the welfare of poor and needy.
