Pune: As the rescue operation for the Thai junior football team, who disappeared in the cave in the northern province of Chiang Rai of Thailand on June 23 is on and with rescuers still deciding on how to extract the team and their coach out, Pune-based company Kirloskar Brothers have come forward and offered technical expertise to the Thailand government.

The Indian Embassy in Thailand has issued a statement that Kirloskar Brothers have been the partner in the rehabilitation of the Bangkok city after the floods in 2011 and has the technical expertise to flush out the flood waters to speed-up the rescue operation. While all efforts are made to bring them out, the key focus though is to drain the cave complex.
