HYDERABAD: GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has appealed to citizens who built houses and are willing to have their property tax assessed, to submit the particulars online without the need to visit the corporation’s office.

The GHMC has introduced the online system for self-assessment of property tax. So far around 1,180 submissions have been made, of which around 900 assessments have been cleared. The remaining should be cleared on priority and any delay in disposing the forms need to be explained by the officials.
