England vs. India
- What: second Twenty20 match
- When: today
- Where: Cardiff
- Start time: 5.30pm
After a heavy eight-wicket defeat in the first Twenty20 match on Tuesday, England will look to level the series against India today in Cardiff.
This summer England have already beaten Australia 5-0 in one-day internationals and also secured a T20 win. Bowler Chris Jordan believes there’s “nothing to get too worried about” despite losing at Old Trafford.
He told BBC Sport: “We’ve been in some brilliant form, playing some very attacking and attractive cricket and sometimes that can happen.”
Speaking to Sky Sports, Jordan added: “We’ve been on a high in white-ball cricket for a while now - and one game, one defeat, shouldn’t change our confidence whatsoever. You still want to be on the front foot, still want to play positive cricket.
“They thoroughly deserved the win, but we'll be looking to bounce back.”
The Guardian reports that England expect to name an unchanged team for the clash in Cardiff but all-rounder Ben Stokes could possibly return for Sunday’s third T20 in Bristol.
