Leopard Deepa dies in Hyderabad zoo

The 22-year-old female leopard named Deepa in Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, which has been in a critical condition since the past few days, died on Wednesday night.

HYDERABAD: The 22-year-old female leopard named Deepa in Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, which has been in a critical condition since the past few days, died on Wednesday night.

The leopard was suffering with bronchitis and was not off the feed, was unable to walk due to weakness. A team of veterinarians from city zoo and others said the cause of death was old age.
