Meghalaya CM rubbishes reports of PDF pulling out of alliance

Minister Conrad K today said the four-month-old Democratic Alliance (MDA) government is "stable" and rubbished of coalition partner People's (PDF) pulling out of the alliance.

"The government is stable. I had a talk with them (MLAs) and there is no question of their withdrawal," the minister said on the sideline of a programme here.

He said all MDA partners were "committed" to completing the five-year term.

Sangma's statement came in the wake of of P N Syiem, who is also the member of the (KHADC), reportedly threatening to pull out of the MDA.
