A 45-day pre-examination coaching camp for police job aspirants got under way at Pre-Examination Training Centre (PETC) at the office of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) in Bhadrachalam on Friday.

The residential coaching camp is being organised by the Tribal Welfare Department under the aegis of ITDA’s PETC for the benefit of youth belonging to ST, SC and BC communities aspiring for police constable jobs.

Speaking at the inaugural session of the camp, ITDA Project Officer Pamela Satpathy exhorted the youth attending the camp to make optimum use of the free coaching and perform well in the ensuing recruitment examination.

She noted that prudent time management, a thorough grasp of fundamental science and mathematical concepts and up-to-date knowledge of current affairs hold key to success in competitive examinations.

Logical reasoning and analytical ability were the basic prerequisites to crack competitive exams, she emphasised.

She wanted the job aspirants to focus on two crucial aspects – attendance and consistent performance – during the free camp to come out with flying colours in their career pursuits.

She interacted with several unemployed youth after the inaugural session of the camp.
