Railway board chairman inspects NRTI progress

Vadodara: Railway Board chairman Ashwani Lohani on Friday inspected the under construction site of the National Rail and Transport Institute (NRTI), Vadodara – which is coming up as country’s first railway university.
During his one day visit to Vadodara, Lohani inspected the progress of the construction work of NRTI, which is coming up at the Lalbaug-based campus of the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR).

Lohani was joined by AK Gupta, general manager of Western Railway, Sudhanshu Mani, director general of NAIR and Devendra Kumar, divisional railway manager of Vadodara railway division during his inspection.

Lohani also interacted with probationers, trainee officers and faculty members of NAIR while he visited an exhibition of best out of waste prepared as part of vocational handicraft course by scout guides.
