Cape Town - Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra took to social media to poke fun at Luis Suarez after Uruguay suffered a 2-0 defeat against France in the Soccer World Cup quarter-final.

Evra and Suarez's rivalry dates back to 2011 when during a Premier League match at Anfield, the former Liverpool striker (now at Barcelona) and Evra clashed and had a war-of-words.
Evra claimed that the Uruguayan used a certain racist word and said it at least 10 times - which provoked the former France defender.
Prior to Suarez's switch from Ajax Amsterdam to Liverpool, he was suspended for seven games for biting PSV Eindhoven's Otman Bakkal on the shoulder.
In 2013, he was caught biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic on the arm (suspended for 10 games) and a year later in Brazil at the 2014 Soccer World Cup he infamously bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
However, it all comes full circle as Raphael Varane and Antoinne Griezmann secured France's passage to the semi-final in Russia.
The 1998 winners will either face Brazil or Belgium on Tuesday, July 10.
