Special police taskforce charges man with 'bestiality' offences
A special taskforce set up earlier this year to investigate allegations of a Perth child abuse ring have charged a 63-year-old man.
Police arrested and charged the Victoria Park man after they alleged he was in possession of and distributed three images of bestiality to another person.
He was charged with possess or copy an indecent or obscene article via summons and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.
The taskforce was launched in February after the discovery of a recording device by a member of
the public, which contained videos showing adults, both male and a female, allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a young girl.
