Chandigarh(DP Correspondent): While welcoming the decision about dope test for all employees, the Punjab Civil Secretariat Staff Association demanded dope test for all, who have been getting salaries from the State exchequer, including MLAs, Ministers and CM too. In the statement, the president of the Association, Sukhchain Singh Khaira told that the decision of the Government gives impression that only employees are drug addicted. A meeting of association was held today in this regard, in which it was told that the government is making target to the employees. They alleged that DA, old pension scheme, equal pay for equal work and pay according to 6th pay commission are the demands, which are being ignored by the Government. Besides it the Government has imposed development tax on the employees. They demanded that there should be clear mention about the salaries drawing categories in the notification of dope.
Association, while giving warning, said if they were targeted alone, the Association along with other organisations will protest against it. Secretary general Gurpreet Singh, Sr. VP Bhagwant Singh Bandesh, VP Satwinder Singh, Press Secretary Neeraj Kumar, Joint Press Secretary Sukhjit Kaur, Joint General secretary Sushil Kumar, Organising Secretary Manjit Singh Randhawa, Joint OS Sahil Sharma, Coordinator Jagdeep Kapil, Finance Secretary Mithun Chawla, Gursewak Sohal and others were present in the meeting .
