Prannoy lost the match 17-21, 18-21 in the quarter-finals to Shi Yuqi a match that lasted for just 39 minutes.

JAKARTA: Indian shuttler H S Prannoy came crashing down after losing to China's world no 3 Shi Yuqi in the quarter-finals of the men's singles at the Indonesia Open Super Series tournament here on Friday, having beaten earlier China's Lin Dan in the first game, and then beating Wang Tzu Wei of Chinese Taipei in the second game.

Prannoy had to taste defeat losing the match 17-21, 18-21 in the quarter-finals to Shi Yuqi a match that lasted for just 39 minutes.

Though Prannoy fought hard in both the games, but finally lost the game against his chinese opponent who played better.
