LUDHIANA: Reacting over the CM Captain Amarinder Singh’ move to make dope test of all government employees compulsory, BJP leader Madan Mohan Mittal on Thursday has advised the chief minister to get his dope test done and its result should be made public if he actually wants to set example for others.
Mittal also questioned the sincerity of the Congress government in doing anything for curbing the drugs menace.

The former cabinet minister said, “The CM had vowed to end this menace in four weeks but he could not control it so now it is his duty to admit his fault. And if he wants to conduct dope test of employees then he should come forward first of all and get its tests conducted.” He said the CM should actually take steps to wipe out the problem.

Mittal asked the Singh to take responsibility that he could not fulfill his promise made with voters of Punjab. The former minister asked the congress government to clear the names of leaders who are responsible behind drug supply chain as earlier they were levelling allegations on Akali leaders for the same.

Mittal said even now the Congress government is blaming political patronage behind supply chain but at this time Akali leaders are not in power so who is giving shelter to the drug peddlers.
