BENGALURU: Karnataka Public Works Minister, HD Revanna, elder brother of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy on Thursday refuted reports of him travelling 300 Kilometers everyday on the advice of an astrologer.

Reports are such, that Revanna travels between Bengaluru and Holenarasipura, his assembly constituency almost every day as he has been advised by an astrologer against "sleeping" in his own house in Bengaluru as long he is a minister.

However, Revanna rubbishing the rumors said that he is forced to travel the distance as an official residence has not been allocated to him.

"Don't have any astrologer who told me this. I'm waiting for a house to be allotted that's why I am traveling this distance to work every day," he said.

At present, Revanna's preferred bungalow is still occupied by former Public Works Minister H C Mahadevappa, who has three months' time to vacate.

Revanna has decided to wait until Mahadevappa vacates the place at Kumara Park West.

Revanna wakes up at 5 am in the morning, and leaves for the Karnataka Assembly in Bengaluru, and heads back to Holenarasipura around midnight.

Revanna is known for his unshakable faith in the astrologer.
