US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo left Washington today for Pyongyang for talks with North Korean Leader, Kim Jong Un. The talks tasked with negotiating a plan to achieve the  complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula will be held tomorrow and day after in Pyongyang. After the talks,Pompeo is scheduled to meet his Japanese and South Korean counterparts in Tokyo.

President Donald Trump met South Korean leader Kim at a historic summit in Singapore last month and pledged to work towards denuclearisation in exchange for US security guarantees.
