Kabaddi Selection trials for Pune League Kabaddi on July 8

Pune: The Selection trials to pick men and women teams for the upcoming Pune League Kabaddi will be held on July 8 at the Weightlifting Hall of the Balewadi Sports Complex.

The 2018 edition of Pune League Kabaddi will be organised as part of the birthday celebration of Ajit Pawar, President of the Maharashtra Olympic Association and Pune District Kabaddi Association,” said Baburao Chandere, Vice-President of Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association.

The Pune League Kabaddi is being organised by Baner-Balewadi-Pashan Ward No 9 from where Chandere is Corportor of the Nationalist Congress Party.

The Pune League Kabaddi will be held at the Boxing Hall of Balewadi Sports Complex from July 19 to 22.

“All the men and women teams affiliated to the Pune District Kabaddi Association are eligible for the selection. Each team may send names of maximum five players on their letterhead  with seal of the club for them to be able to take part in the selection trials,” said Chandere.

The teams for the Pune League Kabaddi will be picked from those who would attend the trials, which will be overseen by Atmaram Kadam, Datta Kalamkar, Kiran Chandere, Sachin Shinde.

The trials would be conducted in the presence of Madhukar Nalawade, Shakuntala Khatavkar, Balraj Wadekar, Bhau Karpe ad Datta Zinzurde.
