Air India's decision on Taiwan consistent with norms: Centre

The government said on Thursday that Air Indias decision to change the name of to on its website was consistent with international norms and Indias position on since 1949.

"Air India's decision to rename the destination as is entirely consistent with international norms and our own position on since 1949," told reporters here.

He was responding to a question about the Indian flag carrier's decision to refer to self-ruled Taiwan as and if was respecting "one-policy".
