Supporters of area vice leaders of the state have been divided into several sub-groups

Some months are left in assembly elections, but Congress is unable to get out from the chamber of groupism. All the five assembly seats of Shajapur and Aagar are occupied by Bhartiya Janta Party and like other districts of the state the Congress’s groupism has grown to the shape of Banyan tree.
Supporters of area vice leaders of the state have been divided into several sub-groups. These sub-groups have either been rebelled or openly protested against Congress and made party lose the elections and BJP was benefited in Shajapur and Aagar for 5 seats in the last two elections due to this groupism. This time also Congress has stuck due to its groupism.
Shajapur has three assembly seats and area vice leaders is having the army. Some time back Congress had a stronghold in Shajapur seat but due to the groupism in Congress, Arun Bhimavad had opened an account of BJP after 25 years. Apart from Bhimavad none other contestant is seen at Shajapur assembly seat.
But in Congress, the district president Ramveer Singh Sikarwar and last election looser Hukum Singh Karada are the strong claimants for the ticket. Both of them never visit another’s programs.
At the same time due to the groupism in Shujalpur assembly, Congress candidate Mahendra Joshi suffered loss because one the area-vice state leader’s strong supporter Yogendre Singh Buntibana had fought the election independently.
This time also Congress’s National Secretary Mahesh Joshi is claiming for the ticket and once again Yogendre Singh Buntibana is among the claimants. In 2013 the BJP has been losing Shujalpur seat but due to the groupism in Congress, BJP got the victory.
Now from this seat BJP MLA Jaswant Singh Handa is the only contender and none other claimant is seen here. Same situation is there in Kalapeepal seat also and due to the groupism, the Congress is giving walk-over to the BJP by sending unproductive candidate for the election. From Kalapeepal, Congress’s Chaturbhuj Tomar is the strong contender.
Besides this, Youth Congress President Kunal Chowdhry is also demanding ticket from this constituency and from the BJP, sitting MLA Inder Singh Parmar and BJP district president Narendre Singh Bais are the strong claimant.
Aagar district has two assembly constituencies. On this secured seat of Aagar assembly, due to the groupism, local candidates are neglected and tickets used to be given to outsider candidates and only due to this reason Congress never won the election for two decades.
‘This time, Congress’s NSUI’s president Vipin Vankhede and Rajkumar Gore are in the discussion and BJP’s sitting MLA Gopal Parmar and Shajapur’s Member of Parliament Manohar Unthwal are in the list of ticket claimants.
Susnair assembly seat is the centre of groupism of Congress this time. One who did not get the ticket makes other one lose as he wants to show his existence.
From BJP’s camp, BJP’s former IAS Roop Narayan Nulkheda, municipal president Prem Rathore, Uday Singh Yaday and sitting MLA Murli Patidar are the claimants. Form Congress’s side, Vallabh Ambavtiya, Rana Vikram Singh and Giriraj Ambavtiya are the strong claimant for the ticket’.
