DEO issues notice to 11 schools which closed during recent ‘gherao’ prog of political parties

District Education Officer (DEO), Raipur A.N. Banjara issued notices to 11 of the schools of the city which had remained closed during ‘gherao’ programmes of the political parties. He also called a meeting of the school representatives to express his reservation for their action.

All these schools situated on way to the Chhattisgarh State Assembly had remained closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. These schools include N.H. Goyal World School, Nardaha, Aarambh Vidyalaya, Nardaha, Delhi Public School Semaria, Brighton International School Vidhan Sabha Road, Gyan Ganga Educational Academy Vidhan Sabha Road, Sandipani Vidyalaya, Campion School, Vicon School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Colombia Global School.

Notably, the Traffic department had issued an advisory for July 3 and 4 and had asked the schools for taking an alternative route for the school buses plying on the Vidhan Sabha routes to reach their destinations.
