Rural Development Min hails Modi’s MSP decision

Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar has hailed the decision by Narendra Modi led government of increasing Minimum Support Price (MSP) by one and half times of investment cost of crops. Besides, the Union government has made arrangement that no government could deny providing one and half time of MSP of investment cost of farmer.

The decision taken recently would be a major step towards achieving the objective of doubling the farmers’ income by the year 2022, he added.

Earlier, the government has taken decision of maintaining supply of urea and fertilizers and providing Neem coated urea.

The decision would help in providing appropriate price of their yield and increase the purchasing power of farmers across the country and would strengthened economy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proved his commitment of interest and welfare of farmers and for pro-farmer decisions we thank PM Modi.

This is not a government of announcements but a government of executions and implementations.

Increasing budget for agriculture, facilities in fisheries, Bamboo farming, sowing of trees bearing fruits, soil testing, food processing, for irrigation Pradhan Mantri Sinchai Yojana, air conditioned transport for crops which rotten fast, escalating storage facilities like step making agriculture economy strengthen and assuring income of farmers are concrete footprints to reach objective of doubling income of farmers’. For crop insurance the government has implemented new scheme for protection of farmers and which would bring light in the life of farmers.
