Growling Tigers and Raging Bulls win

Pune: Growling Tigers and Raging Bulls scored close wins in the opening matches at the BVG India PMDTA Junior Tennis League being played at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana Tennis courts here on Tuesday.

In the opening league matches, Growling Tigers struck out Striking Jaguars 43-40 while Raging Bulls knocked out Speeding Cheetahs 42-41.

In the Girls Under-10 category, Mrunal Shelke lost to Siya Prasade 0-4 while in the boys battle Manan Agarwal lost to Surya Kakade 3-4(5-7).

In the girls Under-12 action, Prapti Patil defeated Purva Bhujbal 6-4 while the boys match witnessed Neel Joglekar beating Raghav Amin 6-2.
